See how a job moves through the shop
Here is the path a real job takes in Swift ERP, from a customer's quote all the way to a shipped, audit-ready part. Everything below is one connected system, so the work creates the records as it goes.
It starts with a quote
An estimator builds a quote: pick the part, the material, and the operations, and Swift prices it. When the customer accepts, the quote becomes a sales order automatically. No re-keying, and nothing falls through the cracks between sales and the floor.
The job goes to the floor
Releasing the sales order creates work orders. Each part carries its routing: the ordered list of operations and the work cell that runs each one. Operators clock in and out of each step, so you always know where a job is and how long it really took.
| Op | Work cell | Status |
|---|---|---|
| 10 Saw | Saw 1 | Done |
| 20 Mill | Haas VF-2 | Running |
| 30 Deburr | Bench 3 | Queued |
| 40 First Article | CMM | Required |
The first piece proves the setup
When a part is new or its revision changed, Swift requires a First Article and builds the AS9102 forms straight from the inspection data. Why it matters: the first article is your evidence that the process makes good parts, and an auditor will ask for it. Here it writes itself as the inspector measures.
| Char | Nominal | Actual | Result |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | 2.500 ±.005 | 2.501 | PASS |
| 2 | 0.750 ±.002 | 0.749 | PASS |
| 3 | ∅.250 +.000/-.003 | .249 | PASS |
When something is off, it is controlled
A failed check opens a nonconformance with a disposition. If a problem keeps coming back, it escalates to a corrective action, and the two stay linked. Why it matters: auditors follow one trail, from the finding to the fix to the proof it worked, and Swift keeps that trail connected for you.
The trends show up on their own
Because the work creates the data, your quality metrics build themselves: on-time delivery, first-pass yield, scrap, and corrective-action closure, all trended live. A Conformance page then maps every AS9100 clause to the feature that performs it and the document that governs it, so you can show an auditor exactly where each requirement lives.
Your workspace starts the same way
Every workspace ships with this same flow and a complete AS9100 quality system, then fills in with your parts, customers, and company details. We will walk you through it on your own data.
